Paper Tiger is a co-operative venture where all the artists get creative control of their work and get published in one of two ways.

They can share the small printing costs then receive a fair & proportionate share of the print run to sell and distribute (we have a growing number of international distro contacts - another benefit of being part of the collective).

Or they can submit work for free and recieve a free copy of the book, or cost copy of the finished work if it is expensive to produce. Contributers get contact/website info printed in the comics and also get the opportunity for a blog on this site.

Paper Tiger comix is a UK based international comix anthology (or comics anthology if you prefer), which is now run by myself (Sean Duffield). A crew of Brighton comic artists initially got Paper Tiger up and growling but anyone who contributed was part of the collective. I like to think of Paper Tiger Comix as a friendly network for artists, where they can work on interesting projects together alongside more established artist.

The anthology is designed to showcase up and coming self- published comic creators as well as more established indie, alternative and underground comics people. We are not wannabees concerned about breaking into big business industry mainstream comix, rather we want to do our own thing and highlight the rich and fertile world of small press and independent/ alternative/ underground comix and take these fresh influences to a wider audience, whilst linking with & supporting our fellow souls. We are creating a diverse, supportive network (join the Paper Tiger Message Board) for small press comics artists and writers as well as presenting fresh, dynamic and innovative work at affordable prices for both the creators and comic buyers alike..
